Good news for anyone publishing with Expression. Our Unsplash integration has been approved, bringing image discovery and selection right into the article editor. Authors can now find and use Unsplash photographs for an article’s hero image or within the body of a piece.
It is a small change to the publishing process with a useful payoff. Less hunting through browser tabs. Less shuffling files around. More time spent getting the article right.
We are pleased to have it approved. But the important part is what it makes easier for the people doing the writing.
Keep the writing and the pictures together
Choosing an image can take longer than it should. You finish a draft, head off to find a photograph, download a few possibilities, then try to remember which one you liked. By the time you return to the editor, you have lost your thread.
Expression now brings that search into the place where the article is taking shape. Find an image and use it as the hero, or add images within the article body when they help explain the subject.
That matters whether you publish every week or only when there is something worth saying. A simpler process makes it easier to get useful work out of draft and onto your website.
Combined with our AI image generator that is already baked into every Expression build, we're well covered when it comes to making your news articles POP!
