Ralston Golf Club is the latest client to move its website to Expression, our own website platform.
The previous website was running on an insecure version of Joomla and with lots of outdated plugins the client opted for a migration rather than an attempt to merely upgrade and patch what was already there.
You can tidy the pages, replace the photographs and sharpen the wording. But if the underlying system still needs replacing, you have only dealt with the surface. The important work starts underneath.
That is our view on website work generally: fix the foundations, then make the experience better. There is little value in a polished front end sitting on an insecure platform.
A welcome move for Ralston
A clean site. Faster loading. An insecure legacy version left behind. A good result for Ralston Golf Club, and one we’re pleased to celebrate.
